New power management endpoint so you can turn on, off and power cycle your servers

We've created a new resource so you can do power management via the API. Through the endpoint `/devices/:id/actions` you can turn on, off, and power cycle a server.

We've upgraded the Type 3 server to the brand new Intel E-2176G processor. This processor has a higher clock than its predecessor (3.7GHz vs 2.4GHz), while still maintaining the same number of cores. Power management has been moved to Overview 🔌

The option for turning on, off and rebooting servers has been moved to the Overview tab. Now you have faster access to that option when you want to do a simple reboot.

Simplifying day-to-day operations with a new design 🎨

Today we're launching a new design for Maxihost. A project that re-built a large part of the codebase in an effort to simplify the day-to-day management of your servers.

The new design not only updates colors but also allows for a better experience with changes to navigation and content placement.

Here are the most important changes:

  • 20% speed improvement across the board

  • Cleaner and lighter layout

  • Navigation changed to the side, allow for more options to be shown

  • Submenu IP Addresses has been moved to its own menu and is now called Networking
